WKK WKF,

U guys r doing a great job.Its really heplful for new generation for understanding our rehit maryada and sikhi culture.Knoweledge is the power and the kind of knowlege u guys r giving is really great.

M y q's r really not very good but still they create doubts in my mind so i thought better ask u ...
i am married and always read kirtansohila bani after doing sex and intercourse.so is that a sin?

somedays ago i was very ill but cant stop my hubby for sex ...but i have promised to god in my mind and heart to do fourty sukhmani sahib ji daay path .so as i was ill and didnt take shower in the morning but do my sukhmani sahib path.so is that wrong or a sin doing sex and not taking shower and reading banis ?

By the grace of god now a days i am feeling little bit fine but due to busyin household chores and sometime feeling laziness , i dont take shower or sometime take shower but dont change clothes which i was wearing in night at the time of sex....but i feel like doing and reading my banis and sukhmani sahiband i read them.but my inside i feel like some guilt due to not taking shower and not changing clothes .So reading banis like this is a sin?

hope to get answers of my stupid questions. Thanks for giving your valueable time to me.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. First of all, it sounds to me as if you think that there is something wrong or "sinful" about sex! Sex with your husband is not a sin. Reading banis anytime is not a sin. Of course it would be preferable if you could always take your shower and change clothes, but please don't go on this guilt trip! Do the best you can, and that's all you can do. Relax. Sikhs don't wallow in feelings of guilt and sin! Blessings, SP
