WAHA GURU JI KA KHALSA WAHE GURU JI KI FATHE

I am very confused with a one thing that if some one do path everyday morning and evevning and use to go guruduwara everyday yet in ideal conevesation he loves to talk about other's NINDA .THEN WHATS THE USE OF ALL THAT? Like my mother in law used to do all above things and wanted me to do all that i mean daily path which i too like to do.but i dont beleave in show off.like i prafer to chat THE NAME in my heart and remeber to god and try to avoid 'chugli'and say things which don't hurt others.please tell me what is important a daily routene path or to become a good person with fear of GOD

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Why should you have to choose between these two important things in life? Of course one should live righteously, avoid hurting others and speaking kindly and of course a Sikh should do also do path and go to Gurdwara, not to show off, but to be in the sadh sangat and to offer one's head to the Guru and listen to Gurbani Kirtan. Ideally we would be as righteous inside as outside! Blessings, SP
