(REPLY) Sat Nam. If you are in London, you might want to find the Sikh Dharma center there (perhaps also listed as 3HO the "3HO Foundation") and speak to the people there about your desire to follow the Sikh faith. Meanwhile, read all the information on SikhNet (go to the Home Page and follow the various links) to learn the fundamental beliefs and practices of a Sikh. Remember, "Sikh" means a student of Truth, and so it's not a matter of anyone converting you, but rather if your soul feels at home and longs to belong to the Guru (the Shabd Guru -- our living Guru -- the volume known as the Siri Guru Granth Sahib)then pray to God for guidance and help to fulfill your destiny. SAT NAM is the seed sound, the Bij Mantra, to which we relate, it is God's Name and translates also to: "Truth is your Identity." The other mantra to recite is WAHE GURU -- which really can't be translated other than to say, "Wow! God is great!" It is a mantra of ecstacy. May God bless you and Guru guide you to your own highest consciousness. SP
