Vaheguru ji ki Fateh
I would like to say something on the idea of Guru Gobind Singh having 2 wives.
That is a misconception. I have read this many times and people think that he had two wives. No, he only had one.
Mata sundari Kaur was the wife of the Guru...
Mata Sahib Kaur, is the 'mother of the Khalsa' as Guru ji is called the father of the Khalsa. Mata Sahib Kaur was a devotee who suggested to Guru to add the sugar crystals in the amrit, during Baisakhi 1699. (To give the Lions the softness and kindness touch as much as they were given fierceness. From then on, she was reffered to as 'mother', in that way.
If I had made any mistakes please forgive me, and enlighten me.
Thank you.
