I took amrit this vaisakhi with great enthusisasm, and also to keep myself away from all the kurehat's. I am in love with a non sikh guy for about 5 years. I have tried so many times to get over this relationship but somehow things don't seem to happen that way. I can never marry anyone out of my religion but I can not stop loving also. we finally decided to end the physical relationship a year
back, because I got more in to the religion with guru's grace and realized that life is not what I had been thinking all this time. obviously we both have had tough times since then. But I successfully managed to keep the physical distance and this gave me the strength to take amrit, so that I can get rid of the sins that I did earlier and have fresh start with the blessings of guru. we still spend time together but like stangers, and unfortunately 2 days back things happened between us that I tried to stop, and I know there is no excuse to anything but few things happened. we didn't make love, but yes there was a kiss little bit more. I would say something stopped me right then and there before it could go further and since then all I do is cry because this was the last thing I wanted to happen after amrit. I do ardaas everyday to keep me away from kurehat's and still it happened. I please would like to know that is it a kurehat that I did or I was saved. at present I feel I am the worst person on this earth who has disgraced it's guru, I am a complete disaster at the moment. please help me out asap.

Sexual relations does break your Amrit vow and bond.
I have 2 suggestions, you choose one:

1. stop seeing him
completely and marry someone else

2. get married to him and be a good Khalsa and accept
him as gift of Guru.
