Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!
The final part of Japji Sahib describes states of consciousness - they are places you can go in your consciousness through your subtle body. The realm of dharam khand (our work/duty on the earth); giaan khand - the understanding of 'how the universe works' (it is not thinking about it - it is an experience); saaram khand- the humbling experience of the inner beauty of God's creation - filled with light; karam khand - the understanding of taking responsibility for one's actions and acting righteously - i.e., stewardship; and sach khand - the darshan of the infinite - a state of consciousness. These realms exist beyond time and can be directly experienced. God can be experienced within all His creation (Prakriti), or as formless (Nirangkar). The One is in the many, and the many is in the One.
