Wahe Guru Jee Ka Khalsa .Wahe Guru Jee Kee Fateh..

I totally agree that these guys who seem to be intrested in girls who are supposedly fun to be with etc etc..( i dont want to go into a detailed description of these girls)..have their priorities wrong..I am very sure these guys and girls dont do Simran or even read bani. I say this as I know once a person begins to do path and Simran on a daily basis, he wont do things like take alcohol or have premaritial sexual rerlations and do similar things, Guru Jee wont let him/her...

It is natural for a guy to be attracted to a beautiful female, however, to look beautiful a girl need not wear skimpy clothes or cut her hair for that matter. I know a few girls in the Gurudawaras who do simran, read bani (not all of of them are amrit dharis though). They wear both traditional and western clothes( formal and informal) and they look very beautiful because they dress up in a very appropriate manner.

Pls comment.

Yes, a girl can dress in a modern style, but maintain her grace and dignity. Some one wrote a question about miri piri in our modern world. We have to be courageous and sensible in how we present ourselves to the world. WE are to be warriors by standing up for our values. We don't have to fall into the pit of society's fashion. Remember fashion is all about "making money." How much fashion do you think there would be if no one made money from it? It is a huge, billion dollar industry. On the other hand, we don't have to dress like we are living 300 years ago either. Know one's identity from the inside and how you want to express it on the outside in your dress and projection.
