Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Today my teacher showed us a video on a man who was on death row and was then injected with poison. He had killed two people before when he was a teen or something. Well, my teacher asked us if we were for or against the death penalty. I really don't know what I believe. I do know that there is no point in having that man alive, it's just wasting the hardworking people's money. But then, who are we to decide if a man's crime punishable enough for the law to sentece him to death? We are not Waheguru.
Could you please help me clear this? I really don't know what to believe. What does Sikhi say? What does the Guru Granth Sahib Ji say about this?
Thank you.

Answer
----------------
The Siri Guru Granth Sahib says that we all reap the results of our own actions. But most importantly, God is the only judge of our deeds and only God gives the life and takes it back again. It is the Guru that guides us in our
life of deeds and actions.
So, read from the Guru and immerse yourself into the chanting of God's name
and eliminate your doubt and uncertainty by making a practice of this.

God bless you,
SKKK
