Summary of Question:	Punjabi Yahoo Chat Issues

Sat Sri Akal. I have been on yahoo punjab chat a few times now and i have noticed that sometimes those of muslim faith are coming into the chat room and being very disrespectful towards sikhism and our Guru ji's, and the same is being done from some punjabi towards the muslim religion. I have tried to discourage them from speeking this way as it is extremely rude, but there are so many people constantly doing it. Can you please help, what should i do?

Sat nam. Practically speaking, there is nothing we can do from here. Best is to ignore them and DON'T engage them. The more you get sucked into it, the harder it will be for you and the more you will build up anger and resentment on both sides. Is that what you really want? To what end? It's certainly not going to 'show them' and it will only make them disrespect Sikhs more.
Look, this kind of thing happens in the world and web all over: one group dissing another's religion. Sikhs have been known to disrespect Islam, so we are guilty too. Stop it by disengaging. If you must respond, BLESS THEM and sign off. It will take all the fun out of it for them if you don't stoop to their level of disrespect, and instead maintain your own grace. Guru ang sang,
