I was looking through the archives of Sikhnet and found this posting by GurMustak Singh about MSS Vikram Singh and Krishna Kaur
(this is the link

I wanted to know if the washing the floor sewa at Darbar Sahib is still "Men Only" have there been any more attempts to correct this Un Sikh practice ?
Also is the Un Sikh practice of no women reciting Kirtan still going on ?
In the posting by GurMustak Singh he gives a photo of Vikram Singh doing Kirtan at Darbar Sahib, the Title on the Photo (asa di war) implies that it is the cover for a cassette or recording ,Does such a recording exist ? I would be grateful if you could tell me if there are any CDs or recordings of Vikram Singh's Kirtan - There dont seem to be any in the media archive I would really like to get hold of some recordings.
*note* I dont wish to stir up any controversy or arguement With regard to Vikram Singh- I am not interested in any of that - I'm just a lover of Kirtan.
( plus I must also say I am a bit of a fan of The Animals(Vikrams sixties band)!!
Many thanks

There is no recording of Vikram Singh doing ASA DIWAR that I am aware of. He has done a few recordings which should be available on Sikhnet:
1.Jaap Sahib
2.Evening Raag-Arti
Look again and I am sure you will find the music you are looking for.
