Summary of Question: | Doing Path |

1) We hear everyone say that when we do path, we should concentrate and remember babaji. but my question is, how do you concentrate? Is your mind supposed to be completely blank when you are doing path or doing simran or should you see Guru Nanak Dev ji's photo or something else? Sometimes when I do path, I see a Gurdwara, not sure which one, but sometimes I feel I?m sitting in the Gurudwara and doing path. Is this what I am supposed to be seeing or my mind making up images?
2) Yesterday when I was doing ardas after Rahraas sahib ji da path, I felt like one of my uncle (who passed away last year) was standing there with me. Although I was all alone in the house, I felt like someone else was with me. Was I hallucinating or does this represent something?
Thank you for helping!

Don't worry. These beautiful experiences are all part of the Guru's blessings.
As to whether your mind should be blank, Kabir says that he empties the vessel of his mind so that the love of the one Lord can fill it. So yes, in a way your mind should be blank, but as to how to accomplish this, I think only Guru Ji can provide.
