Gurfateh..

What do you think about the use of Multimedia in the Gurdwaras for people like me to translate Gurmukhi to English, could you say any words to encourage gurdwaras to use this.
When do you think the best time for me to get amritari is?,im 13 yrs of age.

of course it is okay to use multimedia or any other aid that will hellp you learn your language and culture. Dont let anyone let you you cannot. Amrit is a personal commitment and should not be made lightly... there is no set year or age at which one becomes a Khalsa...but to understand the value, discipline andrequirements of amrit are very important. Please read up onthe process on this wesite and if you have questions feel free to ask. You must creat a desire for amrit, Also I would suggest that you find a person who is older who has already had amrit and start asking the same questions and see if you can ask him/her to be a mentor...if not feel free to talk to me and i will work with you.
