Wheguru ji ka khalsa Wheguru ji ki fatah.

The sad thing is that were i live in England leicester there are no gatka clases. Alot of sikhs down here have cut their hairs and dont give a damn about sikhie. Someone always says that gatka clases will open soon but the guy never shows up becasue he comes form a diffrent town. This is realy droping donw the sikh youths out there like me who choose to keep there ahair and obey the sikh religion. I would like ot see more changes in that to other sikh in leicester. And i think a gatka class could bring alot of sikh youths and others becasue there needs to be some event for the sikh comunity in leicester.May you please reply ASAP to me with regards to this quition. I sahll be very greatfull. Tankyou.

Wheguru ji ka khalsa Wheguru ji ki fatah.

P.s: are hair cutted sikhs allowed to learn gatak. Thankyou

Sat nam. We cannot fix the situation you describe. It's up to you and the other keshdharis you know to keep the faith and set the example. Anyone can learn gatka. Sikh or non-Sikh. If you really want to learn gatka, you may have to travel to a class rather than expect the teacher to come to you. Search it out on Sikh sites: lots of folks DO travel and teach gatka.
Instead of complaining, perhaps you should find someone other gatka teacher in UK who is willing to travel to Leicester, or a group of Sikh youths willing to travel elsewhere in UK to learn it from the teacher. Be creative and organize it yourselves instead of waiting for others to do it for you. Put your commitment to learning gatka out there to Guru, and see what Guru does. Guru ang sang,
