Hi, WJKK WJKF

I'm sort of confused of the defination of "haumai."

I heard in some websites they are saying that the true defination is not "ego" but it has to do with using "I" "I ness" ..it literally translates to English as "I am." So is it wrong when I say "I bought a house" "I have a pet cat." "I am Punjabi" etc... What if there is no pride in your mind when you say these as well. (is that haumai) I know it means that it is a feeling that you don't need God that you doing every thing by yourself without the help of God.
What is the difference of Ahankar & haumai. Can haumai exist without anhankar and can ahankar exist without the other?
I don't understand the "I-ness" defination.
What if you have thoughts in your mind like "God gave me this house" "God helped me win a medal" "God did this for me ..God did that for me." Is this and eg. when haumai is erased from the mind but ahankar still is in?

Thank-you. WJKK WJKF.

Thank-you.

Satnam ji,

Your searching and questioning is a good example of the seperation and confusion that is Hau-mai. If you stop your thought process and deeply meditate on Naam, the result will be an experience of Oness that includes what we call" Iam Iam Iam Thou, Thou is within me.
