i am 15 years old and my mum and dad used to cut my hair. i have since kept it for 3 years uncut and do paath everyday. my brother who was born since, is 10 and has not had his hair cut. but suddenly he has expressed a wish to and i am almost angry at him for this. i dont want him to make the same mistake as my parents did with me. how can i persuade him to change his decision? i think he feels too influenced by his peers and also both of my mama who cut their hair..

Dear one, your brother is very young and needs guidence and inspiration.
Talk to him about his hair and having an identity of God's gift of hair. And especially start reading to him all the stories of our history. Read to him about the lives of the Sikh Gurus every day...especially at night before he goes to sleep. Discuss with him and listen to him and share deeply what you have experienced.

You are very graceful. Also, recite Kirtan Sohila at night with him and do Jap Ji in the morning together in addition to reading and discussing our history.

You can be a great inspiration. Bless you.
