whatis a Sikh's view on old myths such as a black cat crossing your way, sneezing and putting peackock feathers for decoration in our houses, etc? especcially if u could elabarate on the peacock feathers, that would be great. ..i have heard that they are bad luck???? i dont know, elders say all of this but is it relevant????

Sat nam. Sikhs do take such things seriously. The Siri Guru has all the answers we need and these old western superstitions are just that. Sikhs have no need for superstition and punditry, psychics or the like. Chant the naam to protect yourself and your home.
If you want to find out the origin of peacock feathers as 'protective' decoration, search the web. Probably has something to do with the 'eye' image in the feather. Guru ang sang
