Summary of Question:Why No Dasam Granth Bani Is Entered In Granth Sahib
Category:General Sikhism

1) I have always wondered why guru Granth Sahib does not contain even a shabad written or uttered by guru Gobind Singh.

2 Does Dasam Granth write about the valore and glory of Sikhs ( History ), if so why? A sikh, in my opinion, reads path and enjoys daily Grahast life style in persuit of peace.

I hope I have written my questions respetfully.

1. Guru Gobind Singh did not allow any of his Bani to be placed into the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. He did, however, add the Bani of his father, Guru Teg Bahadur.

2. Guru Gobind SIngh writes of the glory and valor of the Truth of God. Bagauti, the sword of God, creates and destroys. Sikhs are not afraid of this Truth of God's creating and destroying power. It is the will of God which grants all things...even peace.
