Summary of Question:Re: Other Paths Of Faith

Dear Sister, an individual has the right to choose whatever path suites him/her. But for sikhs, as it SP ji said, "ONLY Siri Guru Granth Sahib as our living Guru". And you said, "One question i do want to ask is that, isn't the ceremony of "amrit chak" same as the initiation of a seeker in the Radha Soami path? they do seem awful similar". This statment is completely false. Inition of a seeker in Radhasoami is created by a person, but Amrit is created by Sarbans Dani Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Another thing, ONLY a pooran Guru can unite us with Waheguru, and for Sikhs that pooran Guru is Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave gurgaddi to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, not to Radhasoamies. THEREFORE, it is manmant if someone calls himslelf a Sikh and follows Radhasoamis.

There are many sects like radhasoamis, nirankaris, naamdharis, narakdharis, and so on. and there will be more new sects in the future. no question about it. Guru Gobind Singh Ji saved us from wandering around and after "humans" who call themesves "gurus". He gave us everlasting Guru, Guru Granth Sahib ji. The choice ours who to follow.

As about Radhasoamins, they are confused among themselves, who is guru and who is not. For example, they believe in vakat-guru (present guru) and bey-vakat guru (guru in the past) that:

picchlon ki taj tek, tere bhale ki kahoon.
vakat guru ko man, tere bhale ki kahoon.

meaning:
forget bout the past gurus, i am telling u for ur benefit.
believe in present guru, i am telling u for ur befefit.

if this is the case, why there is a samadhi of Shiv Dayal being built in Aagra for more thatn 100 years if they don't believe in past gurus????

Sar Bachan is their famous book. it says about Guru Granth Sahib ji that:

"Granth Guru nahi ho sakta, voh to jarh hai, khud bolta nahi aur na updesh kar sakta hai"

Meaning: Granth cannot be a Guru, it is a root, which does not speak or neither can do updesh.

The other guru of radhasoamis, Rai Bahadur Salag Ram, says quite contrary to the above statement. he believes in shabad guru.

The fact is that Radhasoamis dont even know who is a guru? But Sikhs are safe because Guru Gobind Singh Ji saved them by givind them Amrit and Guru Granth Sahib. no need of "human guru". HOWEVER, Sikhs do respect an individual who brings them closer to Guru Granth Sahib ji, not the one who takes them away from their True Guru.

In Beas, radhasaomis were used to do Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji's parkash. The land where these radhasoamis's gurus were living, was registered to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji long before the villagers gave this land to the fist radhasoami guru in Beas, Bhai Jaimal Singh. Villegers gave this land to him thinking of him as a sikh sadhu. These radhasoami gurus were used to do Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's parkash. after the death of jaimal, babu sawan singh became the guru. They used gurbani not to make people follow Guru Granth Sahib ji, but follow them instead. babu sawan singh said to some of his fellows that sant kirpal singh will be the next guru, but he could not be the guru. using some tactics, sawan singh's grandon, Charan Singh made Sardar Bahadar Jagat Singh the guru. After Bahadur's death, Charan Singh became the guru. In 1954, a case was filed that puratan maryada has to be established at this place. On June 24, 1954, Charan Singh said the following in response:

"Assin Guru Grath Sahib nu isht nahi mande. Eh thaan sadi nijji jaidad hai. Guru Granth Sahib di bir chukk ditti gayee hai."

Meaning:

We do not consider Guru Granth Sahib as Guru. This place is our personal property. The bir of Guru Granth Sahib has been removed.

wow!!!!! amazing huh?????????

I think nothing more is left to say. My dear sister, please try to understand Guru Gobind Singh Ji's intention of giving us Guru Granth Sahib Ji as our everlasting Guru, and the Amrit, the right to 5 payare.

The source of the above information is taken from Sikh Missionary College's book, "Shabad Guru ate Dehdhari Guru dumh". This book is in Punjabi and i beg apology for loose english translation of some sentences. I also quoted the exact punjabi sentences so that sadh sangat can do better translation.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
