Hello

My name is shaan singh i live in brampton ontario in canada. I have a question. My mom tells me to not cut my hair and keep it but she waxes her legs and threds here eye brows but keeps her hair on her head. i was wondering is this the same thing as cutting your har on your head.

Sat nam. Body hair, head hair, facial hair are all the same in a Gursikh's eyes. We keep them and do not alter our body for fashion or someone else's idea of femininity or masculinity. So yes, it IS the same as cutting the hair on your head.
