Please post this alternative view on the stated subject,since i have a bad internet connection,hence this took a long long time to write! Much appreciated!!
I notice many sikhs on here think its okay to masturbate. Thats all fine and dandy. What i find insulting and rather unfair,is when we justify our actions by implying bani agrees with it. Since we try to follow our lives according to bani,shouldnt we at least consult bani when we battle such issues??

Masturbating is not okay. Medically,it might be beneficial-but so is a little alcohol. Where do u draw the line??

Masturbating is a form of lust. Period. Not everyone does it, or has done it. If we have been told to see women as sisters and mothers, how twisted is he who has sexual thoughts over her?
How perverse is that? Bhai gurdas ji says clearly, lust other than ones wife is beef for a hindu and pork for a muslim. Countless shaabads in bani talk about sexual restraint and keeping it within wedlock. Guru nanak dev ji says we shouldnt even think MENTALLY about being with a woman,other than ones wife.

So where does this leave masturbation? Lets stop kidding ourselves and trying to justify sin; lets accept our mistakes and improve on them. Masturbation is wrong. Would any sikh of guru gobind singh ji do this? Honestly answer. I can just imagine guru ji chopping it off to teach one a lesson!

DO NOT masturbate brothers and sisters! Or at least try to stop!
