sat sri akal,

So basically things like not going to the gurdwara bc you have too much work to do means that you dont have faith in God that He will take care of your business no matter what? That is what I get from the response. Tell me if I am wrong.

I had previously that it was saying that we should not be concerned with educating ourselves. We shouldn't worry about that. Bc of the greed of the mind to become intellectual, that takes away our focus from the Guru. The only way to reach Guru then is to abandon our greed for intellect. This is what I had though at first.

Thank You.
Sat Sri Akal~

Nothing is black and white. There are times I choose to stay home instead of going to Gurdwara because I need some space or whatever. That does not make me a bad Sikh. I think the point of the lines is that we allow our mind to run away with itself and rule us, instead of our ruling our mind. There is nothing wrong with education, as long as there is a balance between head and heart and spirit. Some times people become so intellectual that they lose their connection with heart and spirit..and their intuition. Maybe you have met someone like that that intellectualizes everything and has lost their connection to faith and those things in life you can't "prove." I hope this brings clarity. Relax and allow the answer to be absorbed in your consciousness. If you are intellectualizing too much, you are blocking your intuition from working. GTKK
