Dearest GPK ji, Sat Naam
i must say your reply is more than true. i now understand why the Guru made
me wait for your reply for 10 days. to tell u the truth, by His grace
alone, He has made me finally realize that Naam is the greatest healer for
all my pains. and once again to tell u the truth, now nothing seems sweeter
than His name. life seems to be a drama staged on this earth which is just
a motel, with all of us inmates here to spend our alloted time. i really
respect your suggestion about not hasting to take amrit. i guess its better
to be a Khalsa from within first and then go ahead with the formal
commitment. i haven't shaved for 11 days, and will reduce the number of
times i shave per month. also, i plan to increase the intervals after which
i cut my hair, so that slowly and steadily, i can get used to not cutting
it at all. please tell me if its ok to do so.

Take it easy. Go at your own pace. Have no anxiety about it because the Guru is in charge and is guiding you. It takes time to get used to such a change-so give yourself that time. When your soul is ready to stop shaving/cutting hair completely-It will know and will tell you. Trust your own experience and your own inner guidance. Guru speaks to us through our own hearts. You'll be just fine.
