(REPLY) Sat Nam. When you are less reactive, kinder to everyone, feeling inner happiness no matter what the outer circumstances, I think that shows spiritual progress. The closer and more intimate you get with your own soul, the more you experience the confidence that "Ang Sang Wahe Guru" -- God and Guru are with you with each breath, then the more you can feel or think you are progressing. The more you develop love and devotion for Guru's bani, the less you worry about the future, then I think you can mark that as "spiritual progress." Ultimately we can't judge our own progress, that is for God and Guru to do. Our job is to do our best to live the life of a GurSikh.
