Sat Siri Akal.

"Muslims" don't hate. People use their religion as an excuse to hate, and this is one of humanity's greatest problems. Mostly, if you look back through history, religion was used as an excuse for one group of people to compete with another group of people for resources: land, water, wealth, etc. You will find that racial/ethnic/religious tensions exist the strongest where the competition for resources is heaviest. Where there is enough to go around, then these different groups have an easier time getting along.

The problem is that very few people can be honest enough, real enough to admit that this is what is happening. Instead, they use God to justify their competition. "God meant the planet for US - not THEM - therefore we have the right/duty to "convert or kill" anyone not like us. What is beauitful about Sikhi is that is takes spirituality to the societal level. In the Ardas every day we pray for the propserity of all humanity. It's a prayer that all religions, races, creeds have equal opportunity to enjoy the bounty of the earth and the joy of life.

I hope this answers your questions.
