I am doing stage and also participate in telefilms and feature films.

Recently I have become baptised sikh. My question is Can I continue with Acting profession being a sikh or Is it against sikhism?

Sat Sri Akal,

You be a part of any profession you want to, as long as you still follow Sikhi. When you act in plays or do movies, you must still follow Sikhi. That means, don't smoke/drink because that is a part of your character, and things like that. Sikhi does not restrict you to do anything that is not harmful or that detracts you from making an honest living or detracts you from Truthful living.
