Ask yourself are you really ready for marriage? Can you give regular TIME? What are your expectation of your partner and what expectations do you want your partner to have of you or be aware of e.g. you need her to understand that there will be times where you focus on something until it is completed. This is only temporary!

Communication and compromise are key and provide the platform for all the other things that will keep the marriage strong: Friendship, Understanding and development of mutual respect for each other. These are all forms of love.

Successful couples talk deeply before the wedding about their expectations of each other, and if there's serious disagreement - for example he
wants kids, she doesn't - they think seriously about whether to marry. After the wedding, successful couples also talk regularly to check their
expectations of married life. If those expectations clash, they keep communicating until they have understanding and agreement.

Remember a wonderful thing to do is to do paarth together.

Lets all of us do something great rememberance of the Lord of the Universe who will also help us in our married life.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Good advice! thank you.
