Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

I just read the mother's account on today's youth facing the challenge of conversions. It is more immediate than most of us will think. In malaysia there have been countless of stories about how Pakistani boys will try to attract sikh girls by lying to them first that they are sihks.
When the girls have gotten into a relationship with them, they would tell the girls that in order to remain together they would hae to convert to Islam. These deluded girls will convince themselves that their love is strong and many do convert.

In addition. there is a group called kush khabary (translated to good news)who are sikh to christians converts but they keep wearing the kara and retain their sikh names and even take part in culutral events. Even their weddings follow the punjabi culutral way. They move around in the sikh community and try to spread the christian faith. Youths get misled as they are very similar to Sikhs. There have been cases whereby in Punjabi schools pupils have come into contact with this people and some have even converted to christianity. They also provide free tution classes and include in their own bible classes and bring children on outings to influence the kids.

Also inIndia, there are certain groups who think that Sikhs are just wayward Hindus and they take it upon themselves to try to convert Sikhs back into Hindus. They blur the lines between hindus and sikhs and try to get sikhs to accept that sikhism is just a wing of Hinduism.

I would like to implore every Sikh who reads this to remain strong in their faith and find out the truth about our religion.Do not get misguided and help other sikhs who may also be in a quandry. This threats are real and i wish that the gurudwaras and the sikh community addresses these issues before it gets too serious. Remember what our Gurus have given to us and at what cost.

I sincerely apologise if i have offended anybody and welcome all criticism.
