Hi, i am very curious of the above topic. ther are many people born in this way-having characteristics of both sexes-i think its called turners syndrome-we were studying it n class and i would like to know what sikhism has to say about it. are the people born in this way sinners? can they obtain salvation? should they have operations to correct themselves?

thank you for your time.
****************************

All people born are children of god... thay are not sinners... are you a sinner because you are brown, or white or have to wear glasses? No, thay are not sinners just have to deal with more complexity in life as they have characteristics of both sexes. They will deal with it as one does with eyes that are not as good and so wears glasses. You are learning about all kinds of things in class to help you become aware of our differences and sinilarities not so that you can judge but more so that you can understand and accept. knowledge used to judge and create prejudice is actually considered quite bad amongst sikhs. We of all people must not create prejudice.

hope that helps
