Hi

I have volunteered at a youth center and see lots of people get put in this awkward situation like you r facing. What i have seen work for those girls is to leave the guy...but not with drama because he can come after you. As much as you like to beleive him and work on him to save your relationship for the sake of "love". He can be dangerous for you. You can't change someone unless they want to change or realize they need change. All you will be doing is getting him more upset with you. Simply sit him down, confront that you arent comfortable with him carrying a weapon. I think its very unfair to give someone an ultimatum. But you can speak what you think and its his choice to listen. He may or may not listen (he may just "hear" you). You will be doing yourself a favor by stepping away from the situation. Its so hard to see someone you cherish go down the wrong path, but its his karma, not yours. In simple words if i had to suggest something it would be to pray to God that you arent carrying a gun. Thank Him for the wisdom he's given you. Realize that you have different karma and you can't stop it from unreveling. I hope things work out for you, dont think with your heart think with your mind. Think of your safety and your future. Dont think of chanigng someone, it cant be done. IF you know anyone he trusts who can help you out you may want to try it. Otherwise worry about urself. Wish you best of luck.
