Summary of Question: | Why Are Red And Green Now Allowed In Sikhism? |
Category: | Sikh Practices |

(The video was regarding Sikhi colours).
I also read about this somewhere else a month or so back.
I understand that orange, blue, white, black are the Khalsa colours but to be honest, a shade of green works for me better than any other.
I'd just like to know why it's not allowed.
Kind regards,
Vaz

Sat nam. This is news to me. I suspect what you heard has something to do with religio-politics, not true spiritual issues, though beyond that I cannot say, since I am in USA. Every color has its purpose. Red is the color of action, spirit, and getting things done. It is the color of the base chakra as well. Green is the color of healing, the earth, and heart. Wear what pleases you.
