Hello my name is Shanjot Sing and I want to cut my hair. Every day when I say to my self im going to cut my hair I all ways think to my self hould still do it or not. Byt if I do I will still be the same person i will still love god and go to the gudawara. Also no one noes how guru Nanak looked like or if he had a tebin or if any of the gurus did exept guru gobind singh also I want to make it clear that guru Nanak did not invent sikhism.Guru Nanek didnt even say any thing about inventing the culture.

Sat Siri Akaal. Guru Nanak did INDEED start Sikhi, and all 10 physical Gurus covered their heads. You are correct that Nanak did not 'invent' the outer form/identity of Sikhi, but it had been going that direction since his time.

Yes, you will still be the same person inside. Your relationship to Guru is your own. If you don't think the 10th Guru's request that we maintain an outer identity is important, that's your business. As always, be honest with yourself: are you cutting your hair for fashion, because you don't want to be known as Sikh, because girls think they like cut-hair Sikhs, or what? Answer this question of WHY to yourself and then you will know what you should do for yourself. It's not up to me.
