Summary of Question:	Cannot Find A Good Wife

You are doing a great job guiding tomorrows youth today. Keep up the good work.

I have searched the forum but not found an andwer to my question.

I am 26 and am finding it very hard to find a suitable respectable good looking Amridhari Sikh Partner that I am comfortable living with. I have been searching for about 1.5 years now. If I agree the girls side says no, if they agree I don't like the person.

I have been reciting the shabad "Dhan Dhan Ramdas Gur" along with others 5 times each a day, 30 miniutes of NAAM Simran, but nothing seems to be working.My mind is flying everywhere and the fire is really starting to burn if you know what I mean. I am also doing ardas on a daily basis for this task, but to no avail so far. I feel so frustrated and angry. Is it too much to ask to have someone you are confortable with? Is God listening to me??? Everything seems to be such a struggle in life and this is no different.

Is there anything you can suggest?? I could really use some help.

Sat nam. You are doing all the right things, and you should continue them with your wife when you find her!
And no, it is not too much to ask for. But perhaps you are too attached to instant results. You're talking about the rest of your life (let's say 60 years just as a talking point), so waiting for Guru to bring the right woman into your life does not seem like much to ask. Conciously let go and let Guru. Guru does things in His own time, not yours (or mine). Patience pays.
To help you with the physical fire, cold showers are useful.
Practically speaking, be very clear in your mind about the type of woman you are looking for (besides Amritdhari). Do not be attached to issues of: looks or caste or dowry or family ties. Be willing to consider that Guru might completely surprise you, and expect the unexpected!
