Wahe Guru Ji ka KHalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

Vege diet requires some understanding of nutrition. Peanut butter sandwiches and chips can get one fat pretty quick. <smile> It's pretty easy to cook up a pot of tasty daal on the weekend and then pack it during the week. I like mung daal, but you can vary with rajma or other. There are things like vege bangers and patties in the market for special treats. Also veges like broccoli contain some protein as do nuts. So think ahead and cook something on the weekend that you will like to pack during the week. Get lots of veges, fruits and whole grain breads. Raisins contain a lot of iron, but it's okay to take supplements as well, especially vitamin B12 and iron.

May you be blessed with good health and lots of energy. Your committment is inspiring!
