i reply to the comment you have given to T P Singh. God has put humans on this planet to sort out such things, if the gurdwaras in pakistan have access problems then we sikhs need to sort this out. We can not always say that this is gods way and when it will be, it will be. God has put us people on this planet to sort such matters out for ourselves.

Its like the old age question of a man who falls off a mountain and hangs on to a tree and a passer by comes to save him, he replies dont worry god will save me, so the passerby goes on his way and so on others also come to help but the guy says dont worry, god will save me. Eventually the guys falls off and dies and when he does go to god, he says why didnt you save me and god replies well i sent many a man to save you, but you ignored them all.

Moral of the story; god helps you in many formats he doesnt, have to physically do the work himself

the other example you gave of world peace if we want access to world peace people have to do this them selves not turn a blind eye hoping one day god will sort it out. God tells us to take the initiative and seek solutions on our own with his guidance. People can achieve world wide peace but it takes communication to do this and alot of this world's people are not good at communicating.

(REPLY)

Sat Nam. Thank you! I certainly agree that "God helps those who help themselves." So, I appreciate your added wisdom. Of course we should act on the physical level to improve conditions, as well as continue praying. Ultimately, however, the results are in God's hands. SP
