My god...why must people be so demanding when it comes to the Kara. I am allergic to all all steel and iron karas. I tried just about every one in the store, and they all gave me rashes. Now i wear a silver kara, as it doesnt bring the same allergic reaction up. Tell me, what is wrong with this? Should i sacrifice my health for iron? A kara is a kara, it symbolizes the same thing whether it is made from silver, iron, or steel. No wonder more and more children are cutting their hair these days, people like you all really are taking a fanatic approach to minor issues. Sorry if I offended anyone, please reply with the meaning of iron or steel Kara. WJKK, WJKF,

Thanks again!

Sat Nam! Please do not misunderstand. It is not simply a symbol. It is a technology. Just as all the 5 kakkhar are.

It is a matter of having the steel in the body's electromagnetic field. If you cannot wear iron or steel next to your skin, let me suggest that you wear a silver kara and keep your steel kirpan under your jacket, close to your body, but not against your skin. Alternatively, you could keep it in a pocket if necessary. You must certainly do what works for you.

But please do understand that every one of the 5 K's is based not simply on symbology, but on a very refined technology of human physiology and consciousness. Each one has a very precise effect.
