Q)Why do Sikhs believe the following?

a. If a black cat walks out into the road across your path when walking or driving it's bad luck and that you should stop, turn around and go another way or wait for
Someone else to go past first?

b. If you sneeze just before you are about to leave the house or go on a journey then you should stay indoors and wait 5minutes before leaving?

c. If you are about to leave the house and someone asks you where you are going it's bad luck and therefore you have to wait for 5 minutes before leaving?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. These are cultural supersitions, NOT Sikh beliefs. SP

Is this not a bunch of nonsense? Where have these ideas come from? Surely Sikhism does not promote this?
