i dont know why you are making a big deal about the descendants of the Gurus. i think that importance should only be laid on who was chosen by Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Joth. blood relations are not important at all. w3hat is important in this case is the Joth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. let me just leave you with a thought. did Guru Nanak Dev Ji pass on His Joth to his Sons??? think of it in this way the descendants are only leaves of the tree, the Gurus are the roots and the stem.
