My dads a sikh and i am too. I know we shouldnt say this but my father seriously disturbing me in every way possible. I do luv him at the end of the day but still. I want to gurudwara especially 2day new years eve rensoby in my local area but im not allowed to go. I feel like letting him know exactly what i think of him but somehow i just do excercise instead it either takes my anger out or increases it but 1 day i will burst then so will he plz help say somehtin on this site so i can show him what other gursikhs think. He wont give reasons y i cant go to gurudwara.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. I don't know what you mean by "disturbing you in every way possible." Where is your mother? I think it's extremely important that you do let him know how you feel, and you need to speak with him, with all due respect, to find out what he has in mind for you. Maybe he didn't want you out late at night, even on New Year's eve. I don't know how old you are. Did you ask him to take you to the Gurdwara? Does he ever go to Gurdwara? There are too many unasked questions here for me to understand your situation. Do you have any relative to whom you can speak about your situation? He needs to know you are getting angrier and angrier. I hope he will communicate with you. Are you doing well in school? Are there other problems at home?
