Summary of Question:	What Is The Meaning Of Sat Sree Akal ?

I am a Sikh women and use Sat Sree Akal several times a day but never thought about the meaning of this word. I am trying to make a meaning from my own thoughts but I am not getting a satisfactory answer...Could you please help me find a meaning of this word.

"Sat Sri Akal" means "The Great Truth Never Dies."

So why greet each other like that?

Because on the deepest level it means that the Undying Truth lives in me as it lives in you and when we recognize each other, not as individuals but as souls, we recognize and honor the same Infinite Truth - the God that lives within all of us.
