Waheguru ji ka khalsa,

waheguru ji ki fateh

i like straight question and answers so i would also like to ask a question which straight gets to the point. My Boyfriend or the person i will marry says all the rituals like mehndi, shagan and Wearing Chuda (bangles) is not allowed in sikhism. but i like all these little ceremoneis that they have before the wedding. but i am so confused until now i never did anything thats not allowed in sikhism. i want to continue same attitude for the rest of my life so please help me out here.
thanks

Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

These little ceremonies are all fine. They are not the wedding ceremony itself (the Lavaan) and are not performed in the Gurdwara, but they serve to bring joy and to merge the two families together in a cozy way. You should above all, enjoy your wedding in the cozy love of two families becoming one.
