Sat Sri Akal

How can I be a Gurmukh? Can you please tell me the daily routine e.g how I should act at school, home and basically Everywhere :D

How? because I want o be a top top Gurmukh. Seriously, but HOW?

Thank you

Mokham Singh

(REPLY) Sat Nam. I am surprised at your question, because Siri guru Granth Sahib gives us the answer, it is basically to remember God's Name with every breath, and realize that this life is temporary. Use it to connect with the God that dwells inside you.Read Sukhmanni Sahib and you will learn the qualities of a man of God. Guru Gobind Singh listed kindness as the greatest virtue. Live each day as if it were your last day on earth, and don't do anything to anyone that you would not want them to do to you! (The code of conduct for Sikhs is called the REhit Maryada -- which means constant remembrance of death! -- to remind us not to mess up) Obviously you will get up early in the morning and chant God's Name before sunrise during those Ambrosial hours sunrise). You will read all your banis every day, dress in Sikh bana, never cut your hair, etc. And as for being "top top" hopefully you will be trying to do what you do to please God and Guru, not to show off. Learn to read Gurmukhi, and read Siri Guru Granth Sahib regularly. A GurSikh is humble, serviceful and wishes good to ALL. Best wishes! Blessings, SP
