Summary of Question:	Women Kirtani Jatha Is Not Allowed To Perform In Golden Temple

waheguru ji ki fateh

i came to know from some one that women kirtani jatha is not allowed to perform in the hazoori of guru granth sahib in golden temple darbar sahib.
please clear my doubt without any manipulations in the actual fact.
people ask me this question so many times. being myself a sikh i am not aware of the fact.

Dear one,

At present women Jatha's have not been invited to play inside Harimander Sahib.
There has been some discussion about beginning a new era and having women play inside. However, not really being part of the inner workings of the SGPC and especially the way things are run at GT we sit and wait graciously.

For now, we are invited to play Kirtan in front of Akal Takhat Sahib and at Sis Ganj Sahib and Bangala Sahib and Rakab Ganj. So, we must be patient, grateful for what we have and look forward to the corrections of policy.
