my parents rnt that religous but i want to become a real sikh really bad and i try to do path like the nitnem and im serious about this my parents never allow me to grow my hair and im stuck because i want to follow gurus teachings and i pray every nite so i can be come a gursikh but my parents all ways refuse to me and say your getting your hair cut.i have started off by not eating meat and quit since 2 years ago and im the only veg, my parents still tell me to eat meat and i always say no even my sisters tell me to eat me and cut my hair but i dont want to what should i do please tell me?

Keep up in your devotion and love for Sikhi.
Read and educate yourself.
Also, recite the shabd: "Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur.................." for 11 times a day. You can find it at Sikhnet in the Gurbani for printing.

Dedicate yourself to this meditation for the next 90 days and see the changes that come to you. Some day you will be able to follow your path fully. Look for someone in your family who can be supportive to your desire to be a full Sikh. They can speak to your parents in support of your wishes. How about your grandparents?
