miam vibha .... iwould like yo tell u that i love a guy and we have planned for the marriage also after he get settled but one thing always upsts me is that if we won't get married then and due to this i wont able to work also .i really love him and cant live without him plz reply..........

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Nobody knows for sure what the future holds. If you base your whole life's happiness on marrying this guy you "love" then you are disrespecting your own self-worth. "can't live without him." is emotional nonsense. You sound very young. I hope you will marry and be happy, but meanwhile, you should study, and prepare yourself with some sort of career in case you ever need to support yourself. True love is NOT dependence, it is not NEED, it is a wonderful kind, GIVING of wanting happiness and what is best for the other person. Right now you are infatuated, emotional, and insecure. Have you ever thought about meditating? do you read Japji Sahib every day? If you do, you'll get a perspective on the reality of life. Meanwhile you're missing time and opportunity to develop your conscious connection with your own soul by being totally involved in your emotions. May God and Guru bless you with wisdom and courage. SP
