I am a 22 year old male and I have an embarrassing question. When I reach puberty, I started developing breasts. They are not big but very embarrasing considering the fact that I am a male. I have had very tough time in my teenage years because of this problem. I am thinking about getting a surgery to get a flatter chest. I know that this is cosmetic surgery since this is not a medical condition but this is something that will change my life. Is this against Sikhism?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Before you even consider surgery , you need to consult with a physician who specializes in glandular disorders. Sounds to me as if there is an imbalance in your testosterone/estrogen levels, and that I believe (though I'm not a doctor!) could be causing your breasts to develop. Consult a physician!!!
