i understand that we cannot alter our body in anyway as sikhs, however what i would like toi ask is that for medical purposes is altering of the body allowed? i myself, had to have my body altered at a young age. i am 21 years of age, and at the age of 10 i had to be circumised, this was recommened by my doctor who is also a sikh, and also by surgeons. is my case of circumsion, is this acceptable in sikhi, as i practically had no other choice. other traetments were tried, but didnt work, hence i had to be circumsised.

You were 10 years old. This wasn't your decision. Don't worry about it at all.
When you choose to alter your body for personal vanity, that's one thing. This is quite another.
