Summary of Question:	How Do U Become A True Sikh?

safe people i'm 12 years old, and today i was handed a leaflet about sikhi in the gudwarai wanted to know if a sikh should be loyal not drink smoke but i wanted to know someone my age could become a true sikh ?

(REPLY) the answer is "Yes." Four of the greatest Sikhs in our history were the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh, and they were young boys. Guru Har Krishan was only 6 years old when he became the Guru! Age doesn't matter; your intention and your actions matter. Keep your body and mind pure, and develop a relationship with the Guru -- read in the Akhand path (can you learn Gurmukhi? -- it's really easy to learn!) and also read in English so you'll understand the Guru's teachings, and read your banis every day and you will excel in life!
