WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

Are Amritdhari Khalsa Sikhs allowed to tie their long beards? someone told me they are not but i'm not sure. please do let me know.

Tying the beard is not mentioned in the Rehit of Guru Gobind Singh. Wearing the beard flowing and long is the natural state of the beard.

There are situations, when your beard does get long, it sometimes will be tied up for safety reasons at work. However, this is not normally a requirement at a desk job. Someone doing labor or machine work will know when this should be done. Tying of the beard for social custom should not be done.
