Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh

Many people in my school and class like to irritate and disturb me because i am the only different one there, the only Sikh. They disturb me verbally but sometimes they go too far by even insualting Guru. I get angry and cause fight with them and they will keep quiet for a while but after sometime they start again. Can you please tell me how i can stop this?
I just can't seem ti ignore them at all.

Thank you

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh

dear Jasdeep Singh

I feel for you I really do. When I was a little boy I went to school by myself as well and I was bothered but I learned to make friends. I know that this is really hard to hear but the reason they bug you is because you are having a spaz everytime. If you were not alone I would think teaching them a lesson not to be a bad thing. But there you are and you are alone. I'll tell you what I think. I think you should tell the Principal I think you should tell the teachers I think you should tell your parents and ask them to get together. The facts as you presented them to me are clear cut Discrimination. I dont blame you for reacting the way you have, but be honest with yourself you have not solved the situation by keeping shut. I usually dont think telling on someone is good but in this situation I think you should deal with it decisively. If Im not mistaken you have written to us about this before. We answered that you should just ignore them. We also said that if you could not avoid it then you had to deal with it. It seems that you were not able to ignore this and so now you will have to take it into your own hands. Get those people together tell them CALMLY what is going on and tell them you want it to change. You dont have to take this all year long or all through Highschool. Let them all know how you feel. You need to tell the Principal that they are insulting the Guru and that it bothers you and that you feel that this is a case of religious discrimination. The other thing Jasdeep Singh is that you have to learn to face your fears. A warrior is a man who walks toward his challenges face on and overcomes them. Fear is not something you get rid of it is something you stare down. Good luck I really hope that you are able to solve this problem and get it past you. And please try to learn to take it easy as well, getting upset by what people think of you is liking watching a dog chase it's tail ..... you will get nowhere. You are a good young man and you are facing a difficult challenge face it and get over your fears. wahe Guru
