hey i just have a question i never understood. I do not do any of the above but need to ask a question. Ok so i know the stories of like guru nanak ji being offered weed and he rejects it and stuff but iv never seen it the the scriptures like in bold. I do japji sahib and rahras at the moment so i canr reall y say i have read all the guru granth dahib. Like i was told by a giani, its fine to eat meat if u have no other food to cosume to live, if u catch it urself and eat it etc. CAn someone point me to the real reason :) Also i thought if u follow wahegurs path then you dont need to drink coz the effects of drugs and drink are nothign to the effect of being high on Waheguru. BUt does it actually say DO NOT DRINK OR YOU WILL NEVER OBTAIN GOD. I think not, or if it does it keeps us away from maya but i think anyone can feel bliss and that swhy i say to all, drink, smoke, drugs ins not good, but just coz u drink = no god. I dont know. What are ur views on this. However i have never done the above as i think its disgusting and i sit on the lotus plant :)

Sat Siri Akal.

Ok-so here is my challenge to you. Take a couple years to read the entire Siri Guru Granth Sahib, from beginning to end, and write down everything the Guru says about "intoxicants" (which would include drugs and alcohol) and write down everything the Guru says about eating meat and then meditate on the words very deeply and find out for YOURSELF what the Guru has to say.

That is the beauty of being a Sikh. You have a sovereign relationship with your Guru. It doesn't matter what I think the Guru means. All that matters is what you hear when the Guru speaks to YOU.

All love,

GPK
